Adapted from Jeffrey Kluger,"I Know The  Truth, So Don't Bother Me With Facts". humans are easily distracted by flat out lies and rumors, and they would stick to their decisions stronger then before.
Humans are easily distracted from their own knowledge of any situation to rumors and flat out lies. R. Kelly, Garret, and Nisbet come to two horrible conclusions one of them is even in the best circumstances less than a 1/3 mostly wouldn't change their position even with evidence that was given to them. when the people get to learn the facts they still stick with their facts stronger then ever investigators are looking into peoples reaction in the different areas of the brain.
I believe that people have been raised by one truth and that is their parents, family member, or someone close to them.I'm a person if you want to convince me to believe what you believing in, you better have some extremely good evidence that would change my believe.
In conclusion, people can change their point of view on something or someone that they grow up with exact one believe. It all depends on how naïve they are to trust the person.
